  1. Conduct thorough and accurate diagnoses of pulmonary diseases using a variety of laboratory techniques and technologies.
  2. Perform extensive research and analysis on pulmonary disorders to aid in accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
  3. Collaborate with other medical professionals, including physicians, nurses, and researchers, to provide comprehensive patient care.
  4. Review and interpret patient medical histories, laboratory results, and imaging studies to inform diagnoses.
  5. Communicate effectively with patients and their families to explain diagnoses and treatment plans in a compassionate and understandable manner.
  6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements and developments in the field of pulmonary pathology to continuously improve patient care.
  7. Oversee and train medical students, residents, and fellows in pulmonary pathology techniques and procedures.
  8. Ensure compliance with all relevant medical and safety regulations and protocols.
  9. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the delivery of pathology services.
  10. Contribute to the development and implementation of new techniques and technologies in the field of pulmonary pathology.
  11. Actively participate in professional development activities, including attending conferences and publishing research findings.

Job Qualifications
  • Board Certification In Anatomic Pathology And Subspecialty Certification In Pulmonary Pathology.

  • Extensive Experience In Diagnosing And Evaluating Lung Diseases, Including Interstitial Lung Diseases, Lung Neoplasms, And Infectious Lung Diseases.

  • Knowledge And Proficiency In Performing And Interpreting Diagnostic Procedures Such As Bronchoscopy, Thoracentesis, And Biopsy.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills To Accurately Interpret And Report Complex Pulmonary Pathology Findings.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills To Work Effectively With Other Members Of The Healthcare Team, Including Pulmonologists, Oncologists, And Radiologists.
