  4. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care for patients.
  5. Develop and implement treatment plans that address both the physical and psychological aspects of cancer.
  6. Monitor and track patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed.

  10. Stay current on advancements and best practices in psycho-oncology and incorporate them into patient care.

Job Qualifications
  • Board Certification In Psychiatry: A Candidate For The Psychiatrist, Adult Psycho-Oncology Position At Cleveland Clinic Should Possess A Current Board Certification In Psychiatry From The American Board Of Psychiatry And Neurology. This Certification Demonstrates That The Candidate Has Met The Rigorous Standards And Qualifications Required For Practicing In This Specialized Field.

  • Experience In Psycho-Oncology: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience Working In The Field Of Psycho-Oncology. This Experience Should Include Working With Adult Patients With Cancer, As Well As Providing Psychotherapeutic Interventions For Psychological Distress Related To Cancer Diagnosis And Treatment.

This Knowledge Is Essential For Providing Effective Psycho-Oncology Services To Patients And Collaborating With Other Healthcare Professionals In The Oncology Department.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Psychiatrist, Adult Psycho-Oncology, The Candidate Will Be Working Closely With Patients, Their Families, And A Multidisciplinary Team Of Healthcare Professionals.
