
PRN Pharmacy Technician - Inpatient

- Dispensing and preparing medications accurately and efficiently in an inpatient setting
- Following all safety protocols and maintaining inventory control
- Collaborating with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure proper patient care
- Accurately and timely entering prescription information into electronic medical records
- Checking medication labels and packaging for accuracy and expiration dates
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Communicating effectively with patients and healthcare staff regarding medication instructions and any concerns or questions
- Assisting with medication inventory management, including ordering and restocking supplies
- Adhering to all state and federal regulations and guidelines related to pharmacy operations
- Providing excellent customer service and maintaining a professional demeanor at all times
- Participating in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on industry advancements and best practices
- Adhering to all Cleveland Clinic policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned by the pharmacy manager or pharmacists.
Certified Pharmacy Technician (Cpht) Certification From A Nationally Recognized Organization, Such As The Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (Ptcb).
Minimum Of 1 Year Of Experience Working As A Pharmacy Technician In An Inpatient Setting.
Knowledge Of Pharmacy Operations, Including Medication Dispensing And Inventory Management.
Familiarity With Electronic Health Records (Ehr) And Pharmacy Software Programs.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Fast-Paced And Team-Oriented Environment.
