We are seeking a PRN Pharmacy Technician with experience in an inpatient setting to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a team of dedicated professionals and contribute to the overall success of our pharmacy department.   • Dispensing and preparing medications accurately and efficiently in an inpatient setting
  • Following all safety protocols and maintaining inventory control
  • Collaborating with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure proper patient care
  • Accurately and timely entering prescription information into electronic medical records
  • Checking medication labels and packaging for accuracy and expiration dates
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area
  • Communicating effectively with patients and healthcare staff regarding medication instructions and any concerns or questions
  • Assisting with medication inventory management, including ordering and restocking supplies
  • Adhering to all state and federal regulations and guidelines related to pharmacy operations
  • Providing excellent customer service and maintaining a professional demeanor at all times
  • Participating in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on industry advancements and best practices
  • Adhering to all Cleveland Clinic policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned by the pharmacy manager or pharmacists.

Job Qualifications
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (Cpht) Certification From A Nationally Recognized Organization, Such As The Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (Ptcb).

  • Minimum Of 1 Year Of Experience Working As A Pharmacy Technician In An Inpatient Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Pharmacy Operations, Including Medication Dispensing And Inventory Management.

  • Familiarity With Electronic Health Records (Ehr) And Pharmacy Software Programs.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Fast-Paced And Team-Oriented Environment.
