
PRN Clinical Technician - Emergency Department

- Provide essential support to medical staff in the emergency department.
- Assist in life-saving procedures under the supervision of medical professionals.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with hospital protocols.
- Monitor and record vital signs of patients accurately and promptly.
- Assist with patient transfers and transportation as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical staff.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy at all times.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the best possible patient care.
- Continuously monitor and report any changes in patient condition to medical staff.
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by medical staff.
- Document all procedures and interventions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain and enhance skills.
- Take initiative to improve processes and procedures within the emergency department.
- Assist with stocking and maintaining supplies and equipment in the emergency department.
- Follow infection control protocols to prevent the spread of disease.
- Display a positive and professional attitude towards patients, families, and colleagues.
- Attend departmental meetings and contribute ideas and suggestions for improvement.
- Adhere to all legal and ethical standards in patient care.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Is Required For This Position To Ensure A Basic Level Of Education.
Current Bls Certification: The Prn Clinical Technician Must Have A Current Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification From The American Heart Association (Aha) Or The Red Cross.
Previous Experience In A Clinical Setting: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 1-2 Years Of Experience Working In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In An Emergency Department Or Other Fast-Paced Healthcare Environment.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Prn Clinical Technician, You Will Be Working Closely With Patients, Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals. Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential To Succeed In This Role.
Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment: The Emergency Department Can Be A Very Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment. The Prn Clinical Technician Must Be Able To Handle Pressure And Work Efficiently And Effectively In These Conditions.
