- Develop and implement a comprehensive pre-boarding program for new hires, ensuring a seamless transition into the organization.
- Serve as the main point of contact for all pre-boarding activities, including coordinating with HR, hiring managers, and other departments to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
- Create and maintain pre-boarding materials and resources, including welcome packets, orientation schedules, and training materials.
- Conduct pre-boarding orientations and trainings for new hires, providing them with necessary information about the organization, its culture, and expectations.
- Collaborate with the Leadership and Learning department to design and deliver effective learning and development programs for new hires.
- Monitor and track the progress of new hires during the pre-boarding process, identifying any issues and proactively addressing them to ensure a positive experience for new employees.
- Act as a mentor and coach to new hires, providing them with support and guidance as they acclimate to the organization.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the pre-boarding program and make necessary adjustments to continuously improve the onboarding process.
- Stay informed about industry best practices and trends related to pre-boarding and employee onboarding, and incorporate them into the program.
- Serve as a brand ambassador for the organization, promoting its mission and values to new hires and ensuring they feel welcomed and valued from day one.
Extensive Experience In Pre-Boarding And Onboarding Processes: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Managing Pre-Boarding And Onboarding Processes, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting. This Experience Will Demonstrate Their Knowledge And Expertise In Creating Effective And Efficient Pre-Boarding Processes.
Strong Leadership Skills: The Pre-Boarding Manager Should Possess Strong Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Motivate And Guide A Team Of Pre-Boarding Coordinators. They Should Be Able To Lead By Example, Set Clear Expectations, And Foster A Positive And Collaborative Work Environment.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Pre-Boarding Manager Will Be Responsible For Communicating With Various Stakeholders, Including Hr, Hiring Managers, And New Hires. Therefore, They Should Possess Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Convey Information And Build Relationships.
Knowledge Of Learning And Development Principles: The Pre-Boarding Manager Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Learning And Development Principles And Best Practices.
