  1. Assist in the safe and accurate delivery of medications to patients by accurately filling prescriptions and preparing medications for dispensing.
  2. Maintain detailed and accurate records of medication inventory, including tracking expiration dates and ensuring proper storage.
  3. Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure proper medication selection and dosing for patients.
  4. Communicate with patients and healthcare providers to gather necessary information and answer questions regarding medications and potential drug interactions.
  5. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  6. Adhere to all safety and quality standards, including proper handling and disposal of medications and adherence to all regulatory guidelines.
  7. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to medication orders and deliveries, including investigating and addressing any discrepancies or errors.
  8. Stay up-to-date on industry developments and changes in medication therapies to ensure the highest level of care for patients.
  9. Participate in regular team meetings and trainings to enhance knowledge and skills related to pharmacy operations and patient care.
  10. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to all HIPAA regulations and guidelines.
  11. Contribute to the overall success of the pharmacy team by actively seeking opportunities for process improvement and offering suggestions for enhancing patient care.
  12. Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude at all times, representing Cleveland Clinic’s mission and values.
  13. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or managers.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent

  • Completion Of A Pharmacy Technician Training Program

  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (Cpht) Certification

  • Minimum Of 1 Year Experience As A Pharmacy Technician In A Specialty Pharmacy Setting

  • Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills, With The Ability To Handle Sensitive And Confidential Information
