  1. Prepare and dispense medications accurately and efficiently for inpatient population.
  2. Assist with inventory management to ensure adequate supply of medications.
  3. Communicate effectively with healthcare team and patients to provide exceptional care.
  4. Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks.
  5. Adhere to all safety and quality standards in medication preparation and dispensing.
  6. Follow all protocols and procedures in accordance with state and federal laws.
  7. Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families.
  8. Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  9. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  10. Participate in ongoing training and education to stay updated on industry standards.
  11. Continuously uphold the values and mission of Cleveland Clinic.
  12. Demonstrate a strong work ethic and willingness to take on new responsibilities.
  13. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  14. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.

Job Qualifications
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (Cpht) - The Candidate Should Possess A Valid Certification From The Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (Ptcb) Or The National Healthcareer Association (Nha).

  • Previous Experience In An Inpatient Setting - Candidates Should Have Prior Experience Working In A Hospital Or Other Inpatient Healthcare Facility, Preferably In A Pharmacy Setting.

  • Understanding Of Medication Management And Dispensing - A Strong Understanding Of Medication Names, Dosages, And Drug Interactions Is Essential For A Pharmacy Technician Working In An Inpatient Setting.

  • Attention To Detail And Accuracy - Inpatient Pharmacies Deal With High Volumes Of Medication Orders And Prescriptions, Making Attention To Detail And Accuracy Crucial For Patient Safety.
