- Prepare and dispense medications accurately and in a timely manner under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of medication names, uses, dosages, and storage requirements.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels of medications and supplies within the inpatient pharmacy.
- Accurately enter and document patient information and medication orders into the electronic medical record system.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication therapy for patients.
- Adhere to all safety, security, and infection control protocols and procedures.
- Assist in the training and supervision of new pharmacy technicians.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the proper storage and disposal of medications and supplies.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, their families, and healthcare team members.
- Continuously update and expand knowledge and skills through ongoing education and training opportunities.
