- Provide high-quality physical therapy services to pediatric patients and their families in a compassionate and professional manner.
- Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the patient's needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Utilize evidence-based techniques and interventions to improve the patient's physical function and mobility.
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to educate and involve them in the treatment process.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes.
- Continuously monitor and modify treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Stay current with advancements in pediatric physical therapy and incorporate new techniques into practice.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and standards of practice.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment for patients and staff.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of departmental goals and programs.
- Represent the hospital in a positive and professional manner at all times.
- Attend and participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.
- Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in patient care and confidentiality.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or department leadership.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Physical Therapy From An Accredited Institution.
Valid State License To Practice As A Physical Therapist.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In Pediatric Physical Therapy.
Knowledge Of Child Development And Common Pediatric Conditions Such As Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida, And Muscular Dystrophy.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Work Effectively With Children And Their Families.
