Patient Transporter

In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting patients throughout our facilities. As a Patient Transporter, you will play a vital role in ensuring our patients receive the highest level of care and comfort during their time with us. 1. Safely transport patients to and from various areas of the facility, including patient rooms, testing areas, and procedure rooms.
2. Maintain a high level of professionalism and compassion while interacting with patients and their families.
3. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while transporting patients, including proper use of equipment and following infection control practices.
4. Communicate effectively with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and efficient patient transport.
5. Assist patients with getting in and out of wheelchairs or stretchers as needed.
6. Keep track of patient transport schedules and prioritize urgent requests.
7. Maintain patient confidentiality and respect their privacy at all times.
8. Help to maintain a clean and organized work environment, including equipment and transport vehicles.
9. Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families, addressing any concerns or needs they may have.
10. Attend training sessions and meetings as required to stay updated on safety protocols and procedures.
11. Follow all hospital policies and procedures, including HIPAA regulations.
12. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure the smooth flow of patient care.
13. Assist with other duties as assigned by supervisory staff.
14. Maintain a positive attitude and be a team player in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
15. Continuously strive for excellence in patient care and customer service.
