Your primary responsibility will be to ensure an exceptional patient experience by providing outstanding customer service and support. This is a vital role in our organization, as you will be responsible for creating a positive and welcoming environment for all who enter our doors.To excel in this role, you must possess excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, and have a strong understanding of medical terminology and insurance procedures. A minimum of two years of experience in a healthcare setting is required, as well as a high school diploma or equivalent.   1. Greet and welcome patients and their families in a warm and professional manner.
  2. Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive patient experience.
  3. Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual.
  4. Schedule appointments and maintain accurate patient records.
  5. Verify insurance information and assist with insurance billing and claims.
  6. Educate patients on clinic policies and procedures.
  7. Handle patient inquiries and concerns in a timely and efficient manner.
  8. Assist with coordinating referrals to other healthcare providers.
  9. Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
  10. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a seamless patient experience.
  11. Keep confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  12. Continuously strive to improve and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  13. Stay updated on changes in medical terminology and insurance procedures.
  14. Attend trainings and meetings to stay informed on clinic policies and procedures.
  15. Demonstrate empathy and compassion towards patients and their families.
  16. Handle cash and credit card transactions for co-pays and other medical expenses.
  17. Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and scanning documents.
  18. Adhere to all safety and security protocols within the clinic.
  19. Remain professional and calm in stressful situations.
  20. Uphold the mission and values of Cleveland Clinic in all interactions with patients and colleagues.

Job Qualifications
