Cleveland Clinic is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Patient Care Nurse Assistant (PCNA) to join our Telemetry team.   1. Provide compassionate and dedicated care to patients in the Telemetry unit.
  2. Assist patients with daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
  3. Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team.
  4. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  5. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
  6. Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
  7. Collaborate with the nursing team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  8. Administer medications and treatments as directed by healthcare professionals.
  9. Document patient information accurately and in a timely manner.
  10. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including infection control and patient confidentiality.
  11. Provide emotional support to patients and their families during difficult times.
  12. Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain and improve skills.
  13. Follow all safety protocols and actively participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  14. Display a positive and professional attitude in all interactions with patients and colleagues.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Pcna At The Cleveland Clinic Should Have A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education.

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Certification: Candidates Should Possess A Valid Cna Certification Or Be Enrolled In A Cna Program And Able To Obtain Certification Within The First 90 Days Of Employment.

  • Basic Life Support (Bls) Certification: Due To The Critical Nature Of The Job, Candidates Should Have A Valid Bls Certification From The American Heart Association.

  • Experience In Telemetry Or Critical Care: The Cleveland Clinic Is Looking For Candidates With At Least 1 Year Of Experience In A Telemetry Or Critical Care Setting.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Pcna, Communication With Patients, Families, And Healthcare Team Members Is Crucial. Candidates Should Possess Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate And Provide The Best Patient Care.
