As a Patient Access Representative, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards of patient satisfaction.   1. Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner upon arrival at the facility.
  2. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting patients with registration and appointment scheduling.
  3. Collect and verify patient information, including personal and insurance details, accurately and efficiently.
  4. Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  5. Answer and direct incoming phone calls and inquiries from patients, visitors, and other healthcare professionals.
  6. Educate patients on insurance coverage, financial obligations, and available payment options.
  7. Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth patient flow and timely appointments.
  8. Resolve any patient complaints or issues in a timely and effective manner.
  9. Maintain accurate and organized patient records, including updating demographic and insurance information.
  10. Adhere to all Cleveland Clinic policies, procedures, and protocols.
  11. Attend training and education sessions to stay updated on changes in policies, procedures, and insurance regulations.
  12. Collaborate with other team members to improve processes and enhance patient experience.
  13. Uphold Cleveland Clinic's mission and values in all interactions with patients, visitors, and colleagues.
  14. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
