  1. Greeting and welcoming patients to the hospital in a warm and professional manner.
  2. Serving as the primary point of contact for patients and their families, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any questions or concerns.
  3. Ensuring a smooth and efficient registration process by accurately collecting and verifying patient information and insurance details.
  4. Communicating with patients to obtain necessary medical history and other relevant information for their appointments.
  5. Collaborating with other departments to schedule appointments and coordinate patient care.
  6. Maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to all HIPAA regulations.
  7. Handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  8. Resolving any registration issues or discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner.
  9. Assisting with insurance verification and authorization processes.
  10. Maintaining accurate and organized patient records and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
  11. Updating and maintaining patient information in electronic medical records and other databases.
  12. Providing support and guidance to patients in navigating the hospital and directing them to the appropriate resources as needed.
  13. Participating in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on hospital policies, procedures, and regulations.
  14. Collaborating with other team members to ensure a positive and cohesive work environment.
  15. Embodying the mission and values of the Cleveland Clinic and contributing to the delivery of world-class healthcare to our community.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Patient Access Or Healthcare Administration Role.

  • Knowledge Of Healthcare Insurance Plans And Policies, Including Medicare And Medicaid.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals.

  • Proficiency In Electronic Medical Record Systems And Other Relevant Software Programs.
