- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities to determine individualized treatment plans.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans to address patients' functional limitations, promote independence, and improve overall quality of life.
- Utilize evidence-based practices and clinical expertise to provide high-quality occupational therapy services to patients of all ages and diagnoses.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and goals in accordance with organizational standards and regulations.
- Educate patients and their families on adaptive equipment, home modifications, and other strategies to promote independence and safety in daily activities.
- Participate in ongoing professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and keep abreast of new developments in the field of occupational therapy.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards of practice, and maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to establish rapport, set expectations, and address any concerns or questions related to treatment.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment by actively participating in team meetings, sharing knowledge and expertise, and supporting colleagues.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Occupational Therapy From An Accredited Program.
Current State License Or Eligibility For Licensure In Ohio.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Rehabilitation Center.
Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Various Occupational Therapy Techniques And Treatment Approaches.
Excellent Communication, Time-Management, And Problem-Solving Skills, As Well As The Ability To Work Well In A Team Environment.
