- Develop and implement occupational health programs to promote employee wellness and prevent work-related injuries and illnesses.
- Conduct employee health screenings and assessments to identify potential health risks and provide appropriate interventions.
- Collaborate with department managers and HR to ensure compliance with all occupational health regulations and standards.
- Provide education and training to employees on occupational health topics, including workplace safety, ergonomics, and disease prevention.
- Manage and maintain accurate employee health records, including immunizations, injuries, and illnesses.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to facilitate timely and appropriate treatment for work-related injuries and illnesses.
- Conduct investigations and follow-up on work-related incidents and provide recommendations for prevention.
- Evaluate and recommend modifications to workplace environments and processes to improve employee safety and health.
- Participate in the development and implementation of emergency response protocols for workplace incidents.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices related to occupational health and make recommendations for program improvements.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and nurse practitioners, to provide comprehensive occupational health services.
- Communicate effectively with employees, managers, and other stakeholders regarding occupational health policies, procedures, and initiatives.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement efforts to enhance the effectiveness of occupational health programs.
- Serve as a resource and advisor to employees and management regarding occupational health issues and concerns.
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing From An Accredited Institution
Active Rn License In The State Of Ohio
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Occupational Health Or Related Field
Certification In Occupational Health Nursing (Cohn) Or Willingness To Obtain Within 1 Year Of Hire
Knowledge Of Osha Regulations, Workers' Compensation Laws, And Disability Management Practices
