  1. Oversee and manage a team of nurses in an outpatient setting to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  2. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective patient care plans.
  3. Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing feedback and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
  4. Promote a culture of continuous improvement and excellence in patient care.

  9. Stay up-to-date with advancements in medical research and technology related to the ambulatory setting.
  10. Collaborate with other departments and healthcare organizations to implement best practices and improve patient outcomes.
  11. Conduct regular staff meetings and trainings to promote teamwork and professional development.
  12. Maintain accurate records and reports related to patient care, staffing, and budget.
  13. Participate in the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of new nursing staff.
  14. Handle any patient or staff concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  15. Act as a liaison between nursing staff and upper management, conveying information and advocating for the needs of the team.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or Related Field: A Nurse Manager Ambulatory At Cleveland Clinic Should Possess A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or A Related Field From An Accredited Institution. This Provides The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Effectively Manage And Oversee The Clinical Operations Of An Ambulatory Setting.

  • Registered Nurse (Rn) License: The Candidate Should Hold An Active, Unrestricted Rn License In The State Of Ohio. This Is A Mandatory Requirement To Practice As A Nurse Manager At Cleveland Clinic And Ensures That The Candidate Is Well-Versed In The State-Specific Nursing Regulations And Guidelines.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Ambulatory Care: Cleveland Clinic Prefers Candidates With A Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Ambulatory Care, Preferably In A Leadership Or Management Role. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Thorough Understanding Of The Unique Challenges And Demands Of Managing An Ambulatory Setting.

  • Strong Leadership And Communication Skills: As A Nurse Manager, The Candidate Must Possess Excellent Leadership And Communication Skills To Effectively Manage A Team Of Nurses And Other Healthcare Professionals. This Includes The Ability To Provide Direction, Delegate Tasks, And Foster A Positive And Collaborative Work Environment.

  • Knowledge Of Healthcare Regulations And Quality Improvement Processes: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Healthcare Regulations And Quality Improvement Processes, Such As Joint Commission Standards And Performance Improvement Methodologies. This Is Essential For Maintaining Compliance And Continuously Improving The Quality Of Care Provided At The Ambulatory Facility.
