1. Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients with neuromuscular disorders, including performing physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and reviewing medical histories.
2. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, incorporating current research and evidence-based practices.
3. Provide compassionate and comprehensive care to patients with a variety of neuromuscular disorders, including but not limited to muscular dystrophy, myasthenia gravis, and ALS.
4. Collaborate with other physicians and healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
5. Stay current on advancements and developments in the field of neuromuscular neurology, attending conferences and completing continuing education opportunities as appropriate.
6. Utilize and help develop state-of-the-art technology and techniques in the diagnosis and treatment of neuromuscular disorders.
7. Educate patients and their families about their condition, treatment options, and potential outcomes.
8. Document all patient encounters and maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
9. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and treatment plans.
