- Provide specialized medical care to newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions in neonatal patients.
- Monitor and manage the care of critically ill or premature infants.
- Communicate effectively with parents and families of newborns, providing updates on their child's condition and treatment plan.
- Collaborate with other medical professionals, such as nurses and pediatricians, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for neonatal patients.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest research and advancements in neonatology to provide the best possible care to patients.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and protocols to maintain high standards of care.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for all patients.
- Provide guidance and support to other medical staff, such as residents and fellows, in the NICU.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the advancement of neonatal care.
- Attend conferences, seminars, and other educational opportunities to further develop skills and knowledge in the field of neonatology.
- Uphold patient confidentiality and ensure ethical standards are met in all aspects of patient care.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while interacting with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Act as an ambassador for the Cleveland Clinic, promoting its mission and values in all interactions.
Medical Degree From An Accredited Institution.
Completed Residency In Pediatrics And Fellowship In Neonatology.
Board Certification In Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In A Level Iii Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively In A Team Environment.
