As an MRI Technologist I, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care through the use of advanced imaging technology.   1. Perform MRI scans on patients according to established protocols and safety standards.
  2. Ensure the comfort and safety of patients during MRI procedures.
  3. Operate and maintain MRI equipment, including performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting any issues.
  4. Prepare and administer contrast agents as needed for MRI procedures.
  5. Monitor and record patient vital signs and communicate any abnormalities to the appropriate medical personnel.
  6. Review and verify patient information and medical history to ensure accurate imaging results.
  7. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to coordinate and prioritize patient appointments.
  8. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including properly disposing of used supplies and disinfecting equipment.
  9. Adhere to all hospital and department policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
  10. Continuously update knowledge and skills related to MRI technology and procedures through ongoing education and training.
  11. Provide exceptional patient care and address any patient concerns or questions.
  12. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  13. Support and participate in quality improvement initiatives within the department.
  14. Assist in the training and mentoring of new MRI Technologists.
  15. Maintain accurate and complete records of all procedures performed.
  16. Communicate effectively with patients, coworkers, and other healthcare professionals.
  17. Collaborate with radiologists and other physicians to ensure accurate and timely interpretation of imaging results.
  18. Attend department meetings and participate in departmental projects and committees as needed.
  19. Adhere to all infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff.
  20. Display a positive and professional attitude at all times, representing the Cleveland Clinic values and mission.

Job Qualifications
  • Certified Mri Technologist: The Candidate Must Be Certified By The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt) In Magnetic Resonance Imaging (Mri).

  • Experience: A Minimum Of One Year Of Experience As An Mri Technologist Is Required. Experience In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting Is Preferred.

  • Knowledge Of Mri Equipment: The Candidate Must Have Extensive Knowledge Of Mri Equipment, Including Operation, Maintenance, And Troubleshooting.

  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent Communication Skills, Both Verbal And Written, Are Necessary For This Role. The Candidate Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals.

  • Availability For No Weekends Or Call: The Position Requires The Candidate To Work Weekdays Only, With No Weekends Or On-Call Shifts. The Candidate Must Be Able To Commit To This Schedule And Be Available To Work During The Designated Hours.
