- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with memory disorders or dementia, including medical history, cognitive testing, and physical examinations.
- Develop individualized treatment plans for patients, taking into consideration their unique needs and circumstances.
- Educate patients and their families about memory disorders and dementia, including potential causes, symptoms, and treatment options.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as neurologists and psychiatrists, to provide integrated and coordinated care for patients.
- Monitor and track patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Provide counseling and support to patients and their families, helping them cope with the challenges of memory disorders and dementia.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest research and advancements in the field of memory disorders and dementia, incorporating this knowledge into practice.

Minimum Of A Master's Degree In Either Psychology, Social Work, Or Nursing With A Specialization In Gerontology Or Dementia Care.
At Least 5 Years Of Experience Working Directly With Patients Diagnosed With Memory Disorders Or Dementia, Preferably In A Clinical Or Hospital Setting.
Advanced Knowledge And Understanding Of Various Forms Of Dementia, Including Alzheimer's Disease, Lewy Body Dementia, And Vascular Dementia.
Certification In Dementia Care, Such As Certified Dementia Practitioner (Cdp) Or Certified Dementia Care Specialist (Cdcs), Through A Recognized Organization.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Educate And Support Patients And Their Families In Managing And Coping With Dementia.
