Job Description

Cleveland Clinic is looking for an experienced Memory Disorder / Dementia Specialist to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. In this role, you will play an integral part in providing excellent care to our patients suffering from memory disorders and dementia. We are looking for an individual who is a compassionate, patient-centered professional with a commitment to providing exemplary care.The ideal candidate for this position will possess a Master’s degree in nursing or a related field, as well as at least 5 years of experience in memory disorder and dementia evaluation and treatment. We also require a valid registered nurse (RN) license and a valid certificate in dementia care. An understanding of the principles of geriatric care and experience in providing family education and support is a plus.If you are interested in joining our team and helping to shape the lives of our patients, we welcome your application.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide excellent care to patients suffering from memory disorders and dementia.
  2. Maintain compassionate and patient-centered care.
  3. Evaluate and treat memory disorders and dementia.
  4. Develop and implement treatment plans.
  5. Provide family education and support.
  6. Maintain a valid RN license and a valid certificate in dementia care.
  7. Keep up-to-date on evidence-based practices for memory disorder and dementia treatment.
  8. Document patient care in an accurate and timely manner.
  9. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure best patient care.
  10. Participate in team meetings and other activities as needed.
