  1. Provide compassionate and high-quality care to pediatric patients and their families.
  2. Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and coordinating referrals.
  3. Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
  4. Administer medications and treatments as directed by healthcare providers.
  5. Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients by following infection control protocols.

  12. Participate in training and professional development activities as required.

Job Qualifications
  • Completion Of An Accredited Medical Assistant Program: Candidates For This Position Should Have Completed A Medical Assistant Program From An Accredited Institution. This Ensures That They Have The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Perform Medical Tasks In A Pediatric Setting.

  • Certified Medical Assistant (Cma) Or Registered Medical Assistant (Rma) Credential: The Cleveland Clinic Prefers Candidates Who Have Obtained A Cma Or Rma Certification. These Certifications Demonstrate A High Level Of Proficiency And Knowledge In The Field Of Medical Assisting.

  • Pediatric Experience: A Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience Working In A Pediatric Setting Is Preferred For This Role. This Experience Should Include Both Administrative And Clinical Duties, As Well As The Ability To Work With Children Of All Ages.

  • Knowledge Of Electronic Medical Record (Emr) Systems: The Cleveland Clinic Uses Electronic Medical Record Systems To Manage Patient Records And Appointments. Therefore, Candidates Should Have Experience Working With Emr Systems And Be Comfortable Navigating And Updating Patient Information.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Medical Assistants At The Cleveland Clinic Work Closely With Both Patients And Healthcare Providers. Therefore, Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For This Role. Candidates Should Be Able To Communicate Effectively With Children And Their Parents, As Well As Work Well In A Team Environment.
