Materials Handler

- Receive and inspect incoming shipments of medical supplies and equipment.
- Organize and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
- Distribute supplies and equipment to various departments within the hospital.
- Monitor and track supply levels to ensure adequate stock is available at all times.
- Communicate any supply shortages or issues to the appropriate department.
- Maintain accurate records of all supplies and equipment received and distributed.
- Follow proper storage and handling procedures to ensure the integrity and safety of supplies and equipment.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and efficient delivery of supplies and equipment.
- Assist with the procurement and ordering of supplies and equipment as needed.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols while handling supplies and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal departments and external vendors.
- Attend training and educational sessions to stay updated on handling and storage procedures for new supplies and equipment.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Educational Requirement For A Materials Handler Job At Cleveland Clinic Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Ensures That The Candidate Has Basic Knowledge And Skills In Reading, Writing, And Mathematics.
