
Hospital Security Officer
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Hospital Security Officer to join our team at Cleveland Clinic. As a member of our security team, you will play a critical role in maintaining the safety and security of our patients, staff, and visitors. - Monitor and maintain a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors within the hospital premises.
- Conduct regular patrols and surveillance of the hospital to identify any potential security risks or threats.
- Enforce hospital security policies and procedures to ensure compliance and maintain a secure environment.
- Respond promptly and effectively to any security incidents or emergencies, including but not limited to, fire alarms, medical emergencies, and disruptive individuals.
- Communicate with patients, visitors, and staff in a professional and courteous manner, while providing exceptional customer service.
- Monitor and control access to sensitive areas of the hospital, including restricted areas and medication storage areas.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services as needed to handle security incidents.
- Conduct investigations into security incidents and provide detailed reports to management.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all security-related activities, including incident reports and daily logs.
- Stay updated on security protocols and procedures, and provide training and guidance to staff as needed.
- Monitor and maintain security equipment, such as cameras, alarms, and access control systems, and report any malfunctions or issues.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions and maintain the integrity of sensitive information.
- Respond to and assist with patient and visitor inquiries and concerns related to hospital security.
- Attend and participate in regular training and meetings to stay informed about new security protocols and procedures.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including safety and infection control protocols.
Minimum Of High School Diploma Or Ged Equivalent
Prior Experience In Security, Law Enforcement, Or Military Preferred
Strong Communication And Conflict Resolution Skills
Ability To Pass Drug Screening, Background Check, And Physical Fitness Test
Knowledge Of Emergency Response Protocols And Basic First Aid/Cpr Training
