Medical Degree: A Candidate For This Position Should Possess A Doctor Of Medicine (Md) Or Doctor Of Osteopathic Medicine (Do) Degree From An Accredited Medical School.
Board Certification In Anatomic Pathology: Candidates Should Be Board Certified In Anatomic Pathology By The American Board Of Pathology (Abp) Or The American Osteopathic Board Of Pathology (Aobp).
Fellowship Training: Completion Of A Fellowship Program In Head And Neck Pathology Is Highly Preferred. This Should Include Training In The Diagnosis And Management Of Diseases And Tumors Of The Head And Neck Region.
Clinical Experience: Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Clinical Experience In Head And Neck Pathology, Preferably In An Academic Medical Center Setting.
Research And Publication Record: A Strong Track Record Of Research And Publication In The Field Of Head And Neck Pathology Is Desired, With A Focus On Innovative And Cutting-Edge Research Related To The Diagnosis And Treatment Of Head And Neck Diseases.
