
Full-time/Part-time Registered Dietitian

- Conduct nutrition assessments and develop personalized meal plans for patients based on their medical conditions, dietary restrictions, and nutritional needs.
- Provide individual and group nutrition counseling sessions to educate patients on healthy eating habits and promote disease prevention.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to create comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
- Monitor and evaluate patients' progress and adjust meal plans accordingly.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest nutrition research and trends to ensure the most current and evidence-based practices are being used.
- Maintain accurate and organized patient records and documentation.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expertise on nutrition-related topics.
- Provide education and training to other healthcare professionals on nutrition and diet-related topics.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate nutritional supplements and medical foods for patients.
- Adhere to all HIPAA and confidentiality guidelines while interacting with patients and handling their personal health information.
- Act as an advocate for patients by addressing any concerns or questions related to nutrition and diet.
- Develop and implement nutrition-related programs and initiatives for the community.
- Continuously assess and improve nutrition services and processes to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes.
- Maintain all necessary certifications and licensure to practice as a Registered Dietitian.
- Uphold the mission, vision, and values of Cleveland Clinic and represent the organization in a professional manner at all times.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Nutrition, Dietetics, Or A Related Field From An Accredited University.
Current Registration As A Registered Dietitian (Rd) Or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (Rdn) With The Commission On Dietetic Registration (Cdr).
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Organization.
Strong Knowledge Of Medical Nutrition Therapy, Principles Of Nutrition Assessment, And Evidence-Based Nutrition Practices.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Healthcare Professionals And Patients To Provide Individualized Nutrition Care Plans.
