  1. Provide emergency medical care to patients in the Emergency Department, including performing initial assessments, administering treatment, and monitoring vital signs.
  2. Collaborate with emergency department team members, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to provide coordinated and efficient care to patients.
  3. Respond to emergency situations, accurately assess patient needs, and determine appropriate courses of action.
  4. Administer medications and perform procedures according to established protocols and under the supervision of a physician.
  5. Document all patient care in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring compliance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
  6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emergency medical procedures, equipment, and protocols, and participate in ongoing training and education to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
  7. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to provide information and support during emergency situations.
  8. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to ensure the well-being of patients and healthcare team members.
  9. Maintain and organize emergency equipment and supplies, ensuring they are readily available and functioning properly.
  10. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute ideas for improving processes and patient outcomes in the Emergency Department.
  11. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
  12. Serve as a role model for other healthcare team members by demonstrating compassion, empathy, and a commitment to providing exceptional care.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certification

  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (Pals) Certification

  • Current Paramedic Certification From An Accredited Program

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience Working In An Emergency Department Setting

  • Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced, High-Stress Environment And Make Critical Decisions Under Pressure
