Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated EBI Database Developer to join our team at the Cleveland Clinic. You will be a key player in helping the Clinic use our data to make decisions and support our strategic initiatives. Our ideal candidate has a strong background in developing and managing data warehouses, data lakes, and data marts. You must be a creative problem-solver and have excellent communication skills.To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field and at least 5 years of experience in developing and managing databases. Knowledge of various database technologies, such as Oracle, SQL Server, and Postgres, is also required. Additionally, experience with data modeling, ETL, and data warehouse design is essential. Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage data warehouses, data lakes, and data marts.
  • Design and implement ETL processes.
  • Create data models to support strategic initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain database security and data privacy regulations.
  • Monitor database performance and provide troubleshooting and optimization as needed.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Create and maintain documentations and technical specifications.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of new systems and processes.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure data is accurate and accessible.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions.
