- Develop and execute strategic plans for the Department of Urology in alignment with the overall goals and mission of Cleveland Clinic.
- Lead and manage a team of urologists, ensuring high-quality patient care, effective communication, and collaboration among team members.
- Oversee the clinical operations of the department, including scheduling, resource allocation, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Foster a culture of innovation and research within the department, encouraging faculty and staff to participate in groundbreaking research projects.
- Collaborate with other departments and specialties within Cleveland Clinic to provide comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
- Represent the Department of Urology in various internal and external meetings, conferences, and events.
- Develop and maintain relationships with referring physicians, community organizations, and industry partners to enhance the reputation and visibility of the department.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards, as well as adherence to Cleveland Clinic policies and procedures.

- Perform other duties as assigned by the executive leadership of Cleveland Clinic.
Medical Degree: A Department Chair, Urology At Cleveland Clinic Must Possess A Doctor Of Medicine (Md) Or Doctor Of Osteopathic Medicine (Do) Degree From An Accredited Medical School.
Board Certification: The Ideal Candidate Should Be Board Certified In Urology By The American Board Of Urology Or Equivalent Certification From Another Recognized Board.
Leadership Experience: Candidates Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Leading And Managing A Urology Department, Preferably In An Academic Or Large Tertiary Care Setting.
Research And Publication Record: A Strong Research Background And A Record Of Publications In Peer-Reviewed Journals Are Highly Desirable For This Role. The Candidate Should Also Have Experience In Securing Research Funding And Leading Research Projects.
