- Assist the dentist during dental procedures by handing them instruments, preparing materials, and providing support to enhance patient comfort and overall efficiency.
- Take and develop dental x-rays as directed by the dentist.
- Prepare and maintain the treatment rooms, ensuring that all instruments and materials are properly sterilized and stocked.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, and maintain accurate patient records.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide post-operative instructions.
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure patient satisfaction by addressing any concerns or questions.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a smooth and coordinated patient experience.
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as billing, insurance claims, and inventory management.
- Stay updated on current dental procedures, techniques, and tools, and implement them as directed by the dentist.
- Maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor at all times, creating a welcoming and positive environment for patients.
- Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and growth.
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Other duties as assigned by the dentist or office manager.
Completion Of An Accredited Dental Assistant Program Or Equivalent Training.
Certified Dental Assistant (Cda) Or Registered Dental Assistant (Rda) Certification.
Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience Working In A Dental Office Or Clinic.
Knowledge Of Dental Terminology, Procedures, And Equipment.
Excellent Communication Skills And Ability To Work Well In A Team Environment.
