- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families via phone, email, and other communication channels.
- Answer incoming calls and respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Identify and understand patient needs and concerns, and provide appropriate solutions or referrals.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of all services and resources available at Cleveland Clinic to effectively direct patients to the appropriate resources.
- Use active listening skills to understand and empathize with patients' situations and provide compassionate support.
- Document all patient interactions and inquiries accurately and thoroughly.
- Collaborate with other departments and colleagues to ensure prompt and accurate resolution of patient inquiries.
- Adhere to all privacy and confidentiality policies and procedures.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve and enhance the patient experience.
- Attend training and educational sessions to stay updated on Cleveland Clinic services and processes.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
- Follow all established protocols and procedures for handling patient inquiries and escalations.
- Provide support and assistance to other team members as needed.
- Proactively identify and report any issues or concerns to superiors.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and standards.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Customer Support Or Contact Center Role, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.
Excellent Communication Skills, Both Verbal And Written, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
Proficient In Using Computer Systems And Software, Including Electronic Medical Records And Call Center Software.
Strong Problem-Solving And Critical Thinking Skills, With The Ability To Handle Complex And Sensitive Situations.
Knowledge And Understanding Of Medical Terminology And Procedures, As Well As Hipaa Regulations And Patient Privacy Laws.
