Doctor Of Pharmacy (Pharmd) Degree: A Clinical Pharmacist At Cleveland Clinic Must Possess A Doctor Of Pharmacy (Pharmd) Degree From An Accredited School Of Pharmacy.
State Licensure: The Candidate Must Be Licensed To Practice Pharmacy In The State Of Ohio And Maintain An Active License Throughout Their Employment.
Board Certification: Cleveland Clinic Prefers Clinical Pharmacists Who Are Board-Certified In A Specialty Area Such As Pharmacotherapy Or Ambulatory Care.
Residency Training: A Completed Pharmacy Practice Residency Or Equivalent Experience Is Desired To Demonstrate Advanced Clinical Knowledge And Skills.
Strong Communication And Teamwork Skills: The Clinical Pharmacist Must Possess Excellent Communication Skills To Collaborate With Other Healthcare Professionals And Effectively Communicate With Patients. They Should Also Be Able To Work Well In A Multidisciplinary Team Setting.
