We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Manager for our Lung Transplant team. As a Clinical Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the coordination and delivery of care for patients undergoing lung transplant surgery.   1. Oversee the coordination and delivery of care for patients undergoing lung transplant surgery.
  2. Manage and supervise a team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and support staff.
  3. Develop and implement policies and protocols to ensure the highest quality of care for lung transplant patients.
  4. Monitor patient outcomes and make necessary changes to improve patient care.
  5. Collaborate with other departments and specialties within the hospital to ensure seamless care for patients.
  6. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards related to lung transplants.
  7. Manage the budget and resources for the lung transplant program.
  8. Maintain open communication with patients and their families, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
  9. Develop and implement educational programs for staff to ensure ongoing professional development and adherence to best practices.
  10. Stay up-to-date on current research and advancements in lung transplant surgery and integrate new practices and procedures into the program.
  11. Participate in strategic planning and goal-setting for the lung transplant program.
  12. Serve as a liaison between the hospital and external organizations, such as transplant networks and donor organizations.
  13. Ensure a safe and efficient environment for patients and staff by enforcing infection control standards and maintaining equipment.
  14. Provide mentorship and guidance to staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  15. Represent the Cleveland Clinic and the lung transplant program in a professional and positive manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Role Within A Lung Transplant Program Or Related Field.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or A Related Healthcare Field. Master's Degree Preferred.

  • Active Rn License And Current Certification In Critical Care Or Transplant Nursing.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Lung Transplant Procedures, Protocols, And Patient Care Guidelines.

  • Proven Track Record Of Effectively Managing A Team And Achieving Positive Outcomes In A Fast-Paced, High-Stress Environment.
