  1. Conduct regular maintenance and inspections of medical equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety for patient use.
  2. Troubleshoot and repair any equipment malfunctions or issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  3. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to identify and implement solutions for improving patient care through technology.
  4. Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in medical equipment and technology to make recommendations for upgrades or replacements.
  5. Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately and thoroughly.
  6. Train and educate staff on the proper use and maintenance of medical equipment.
  7. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while handling and working with medical equipment.
  8. Maintain inventory of equipment and order necessary supplies as needed.
  9. Work closely with vendors and manufacturers to ensure timely delivery of equipment and parts.
  10. Participate in on-call rotation to provide support for urgent equipment issues outside of regular business hours.
  11. Attend departmental meetings and training sessions to stay informed on hospital policies, procedures, and best practices.
  12. Continuously seek ways to improve and streamline equipment maintenance processes.
  13. Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain strict confidentiality of patient information.
  14. Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills to quickly identify and resolve technical issues.
  15. Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with patients, staff, and other healthcare professionals.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Biomedical Engineering Or Related Field

  • Certification In Clinical Engineering (Cce)

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Engineering Role

  • Proficient In Troubleshooting And Repairing Medical Equipment

  • Knowledge Of Relevant Regulations And Standards Such As Fda, Aami, And Joint Commission.
