Job Description

To be successful in this position, you must possess a Doctor of Pharmacy degree, be a licensed pharmacist in the state of Ohio, and have previous experience in a clinical pharmacy leadership role.   1. Lead and mentor a team of pharmacy professionals to ensure the delivery of exceptional pharmaceutical care to patients.
  2. Utilize clinical expertise to develop and implement innovative pharmacy programs and services.
  3. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes and promote patient safety.
  4. Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and standards of practice.
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with pharmaceutical industry representatives and stay up-to-date on new medications and treatments.
  6. Oversee medication management processes and promote the appropriate use of medications.
  7. Serve as a resource and provide guidance to pharmacists and other healthcare professionals on complex medication-related issues.
  8. Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives to enhance pharmacy services.
  9. Assist in the development and maintenance of policies and procedures related to pharmacy services.
  10. Participate in budget planning and monitor financial performance of pharmacy services.
  11. Stay informed about changes in healthcare laws and regulations that may impact pharmacy services.
  12. Educate patients and their caregivers on proper medication use and potential side effects.
  13. Serve as a liaison between pharmacy services and other departments within Cleveland Clinic.
  14. Contribute to the development and implementation of training programs for pharmacy staff.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of pharmacy services.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience As A Licensed Pharmacist In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Pharmacy Or Doctor Of Pharmacy (Pharmd) Degree From An Accredited Institution.

  • Strong Leadership And Management Skills With Experience In Staff Supervision And Development.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Healthcare Teams And Interact With Patients.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Pharmacy Operations, Medication Management, And Regulatory Compliance.
