
Clinical Audiologist

- Conduct diagnostic assessments: Perform comprehensive evaluations, including hearing and balance assessments, to accurately diagnose and evaluate the extent of patients' hearing and balance issues.
- Develop treatment plans: Utilize assessment results and patient information to develop individualized treatment plans to address patients' specific needs and goals.
- Provide hearing aid fittings and adjustments: Conduct hearing aid fittings and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal fit and function for patients.
- Perform hearing aid repairs and maintenance: Troubleshoot and repair hearing aids as needed, and educate patients on proper maintenance and care.
- Conduct hearing conservation programs: Educate patients and the general public on the importance of hearing protection and implement hearing conservation programs as needed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals: Work closely with physicians, speech-language pathologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients.
- Maintain accurate records: Document all patient interactions, assessments, and treatment plans accurately and in a timely manner.
- Stay current with industry developments: Continuously update knowledge and skills through attending conferences, workshops, and staying informed on the latest advancements in audiology.
- Provide patient education: Educate patients and their families on hearing and balance disorders, treatment options, and strategies for managing their condition.
- Uphold ethical and professional standards: Maintain high ethical and professional standards in all aspects of job performance and interactions with patients, colleagues, and healthcare professionals.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment: Ensure the safety and cleanliness of the audiology clinic and equipment, following all infection control protocols and guidelines.
- Serve as a patient advocate: Advocate for patients' needs and ensure their concerns are addressed promptly and effectively.
- Collaborate with administrative staff: Work closely with administrative staff to schedule appointments, handle billing and insurance claims, and maintain accurate patient records.
- Contribute to team meetings: Participate in team meetings to discuss patient cases, share knowledge and expertise, and provide support and guidance to colleagues.

Master's Degree In Audiology Or Doctor Of Audiology (Au.d.) From An Accredited University.
Current State Licensure As An Audiologist And Certification From The American Board Of Audiology (Aba).
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting.
Strong Knowledge And Expertise In Audiology Diagnostic And Treatment Techniques, Including Audiometric Testing, Hearing Aid Fitting, And Cochlear Implant Evaluation.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Patients, Families, And Multidisciplinary Teams.
