  1. Develop and implement strategic plans for the urology department in alignment with the overall goals and objectives of Cleveland Clinic Florida.
  2. Lead and manage a team of urologists, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to promote a collaborative and productive work environment.
  3. Oversee the clinical operations of the urology department, ensuring high-quality and efficient patient care delivery.
  4. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the department, seeking out new opportunities to enhance services and patient outcomes.
  5. Collaborate with other department chairs and leaders to promote interdisciplinary collaboration and ensure coordinated patient care.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including referring physicians, community organizations, and industry partners.
  7. Manage the department budget, allocating resources effectively to support the achievement of departmental goals.
  8. Stay informed about the latest developments and advancements in the field of urology, and implement relevant changes and updates to department practices.
  9. Promote a culture of research and scholarly activity within the department, encouraging and supporting faculty and staff in their research endeavors.
  10. Oversee the educational programs within the department, ensuring high-quality training and development opportunities for residents, fellows, and other learners.
  11. Represent the urology department at various internal and external meetings, conferences, and events.
  12. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies within the urology department.
  13. Support and promote a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion within the department.
  14. Act as a liaison between the urology department and other departments within Cleveland Clinic Florida, fostering positive working relationships and effective communication.
  15. Maintain a personal and professional commitment to providing exceptional care to patients and promoting the mission and values of Cleveland Clinic Florida.

Job Qualifications
  • Medical Degree (Md Or Do) From An Accredited Institution.

  • Board Certification In Urology.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience As A Practicing Urologist.

  • Proven Leadership Skills And Experience In Managing A Team Of Physicians.

  • Demonstrated Success In Research And Publication In The Field Of Urology.
