  1. Provide comprehensive psychiatric services to children and adolescents at Cleveland Clinic.
  2. Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients to determine appropriate treatment plans.
  3. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for each patient, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques.
  4. Collaborate with other members of the treatment team, including therapists, nurses, and other medical professionals, to provide holistic care to patients.
  5. Monitor and track patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
  6. Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies.
  7. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress.
  8. Adhere to all ethical and professional standards, including patient confidentiality.
  9. Stay updated on current research and developments in the field of child and adolescent psychiatry, and incorporate new knowledge into practice.
  10. Actively participate in team meetings, case conferences, and other collaborative activities to ensure coordinated and effective care for patients.
  11. Serve as a resource and mentor to other staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.
  12. Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and respect for patients and their families at all times.
  13. Foster a positive and welcoming environment for patients and their families at Cleveland Clinic.
  14. Attend continuing education and professional development opportunities to maintain and enhance skills and knowledge.
  15. Represent Cleveland Clinic and the field of child and adolescent psychiatry in a professional and positive manner.

Job Qualifications
  • Medical Degree And Board Certification In Psychiatry: Child And Adolescent Psychiatrists At Cleveland Clinic Must Have A Medical Degree From An Accredited Institution And Be Board-Certified In Psychiatry By The American Board Of Psychiatry And Neurology.

  • Specialization In Child And Adolescent Psychiatry: Candidates Must Have Completed A Fellowship In Child And Adolescent Psychiatry Or Have Significant Experience In Treating Mental Health Disorders In Children And Teenagers.

  • Experience With A Diverse Patient Population: Cleveland Clinic Is Committed To Providing Care To A Diverse Group Of Patients, So Candidates Must Have Experience Working With Children And Adolescents From A Variety Of Backgrounds, Including Different Cultures, Socioeconomic Statuses, And Family Dynamics.
