  1. Prepare and maintain equipment for cardiovascular procedures, ensuring they are in proper working condition.
  2. Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals in performing diagnostic tests and procedures on patients with cardiovascular conditions.
  3. Monitor and record patient vital signs and assist with any necessary interventions during procedures.
  4. Educate patients and their families about cardiovascular procedures and post-procedure care.
  5. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
  6. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including procedure notes and test results.
  7. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  8. Stay up-to-date on advancements and changes in the field of cardiovascular technology, and continuously improve technical skills.
  9. Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families during procedures.
  10. Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a positive and comfortable patient experience.
  11. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols.
  12. Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient and timely patient care.
  13. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new protocols and procedures.
  14. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times, respecting the privacy and dignity of patients and their families.

Job Qualifications
  • Associate's Or Bachelor's Degree In Cardiovascular Technology Or A Related Field.

  • Certification As A Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (Rcis) Or Registered Cardiovascular Technologist (Rcvt).

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Cardiac Catheterization Lab.

  • Proficiency In Interpreting Electrocardiograms (Ekgs), Echocardiograms, And Other Diagnostic Tests.

  • Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills, With The Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment.
