Responsibilities:

1. Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patient's cardiac health, including reviewing medical history, performing physical exams, and ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests.
2. Diagnose and treat various heart conditions, including coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, and other cardiovascular disorders.
3. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients based on their specific condition and needs.
4. Perform and interpret diagnostic procedures, such as EKGs, stress tests, echocardiograms, and cardiac catheterizations.
5. Prescribe and manage medications and other forms of treatment for patients.
6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as nurses, technicians, and other specialists, to provide comprehensive care for patients.
7. Educate patients and their families about their condition, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications to improve heart health.
8. Keep accurate and up-to-date medical records and patient information.
9. Stay current with advancements in the field of cardiology through continued education and research.
10. Uphold the values and standards of Cleveland Clinic, including providing compassionate, high-quality care to patients.
11. Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives.
12. Participate in on-call and emergency services as needed.
