
Behavioral Health Therapist
The Cleveland Clinic is looking for an experienced and motivated Behavioral Health Therapist to join our team! We are searching for a compassionate individual who is passionate about delivering the highest quality of care to our patients. The ideal candidate will be patient-focused, organized, and have a strong commitment to providing comprehensive mental health services.In this role, you will be responsible for providing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services to patients in our outpatient setting. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team and will collaborate with other members of the health care team to ensure successful outcomes for our patients.To be successful in this role, you must have a Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling, as well as a current Ohio licensure as an Independent Social Worker (LISW), Professional Counselor (LPCC), or Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). You must also be able to demonstrate knowledge of applicable laws and regulations governing the delivery of behavioral health services, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. In addition, experience in a behavioral health setting is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services for patients in an outpatient setting.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team members to ensure successful outcomes.
- Maintain current licensure as an Independent Social Worker (LISW), Professional Counselor (LPCC), or Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations governing the delivery of behavioral health services.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients and other team members.
- Provide patient-focused, organized, and compassionate care.
- Utilize evidence-based practices in delivering mental health services.
- Maintain patient records and documentation in accordance with professional standards.
- Participate in on-going education and training to enhance clinical skills.
- Participate in quality improvement activities.
