  1. Conduct arrhythmia tests and procedures: The Arrhythmia Lab Technologist will be responsible for performing various tests and procedures in the arrhythmia lab, including EKGs, stress tests, and electrophysiology studies.
  2. Ensure accuracy and precision: The Technologist must possess strong attention to detail and excellent technical skills to accurately and precisely carry out tests and procedures.
  3. Maintain and troubleshoot equipment: This role requires the Technologist to maintain and troubleshoot all equipment used in the arrhythmia lab to ensure it is functioning properly and provide timely solutions for any issues that may arise.
  4. Collaborate with healthcare team: The Arrhythmia Lab Technologist will work closely with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, and technicians, to ensure timely and accurate test results and provide exceptional patient care.
  5. Monitor patient safety: The Technologist will be responsible for monitoring the safety and wellbeing of patients during tests and procedures, including identifying any potential risks and taking appropriate actions to ensure patient safety.
  6. Maintain records and documentation: This role requires the Technologist to maintain accurate records of all tests and procedures performed, including patient information, test results, and equipment maintenance records.
  7. Stay updated on new technologies and procedures: The Arrhythmia Lab Technologist must stay updated on the latest technological advancements and procedures in the field of cardiovascular health to provide the most effective and efficient care to patients.
  8. Adhere to safety and quality standards: The Technologist must adhere to all safety and quality standards set by the Cleveland Clinic and regulatory agencies to ensure the highest level of patient care.
  9. Train and mentor junior staff: As a senior member of the team, the Technologist may be responsible for training and mentoring junior staff members to ensure they are performing their duties accurately and efficiently.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, Or A Related Field.

  • Certification As A Medical Laboratory Scientist (Mls) Or Medical Technologist (Mt) Through A Nationally Recognized Agency (Such As Ascp Or Amt).

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Laboratory Setting, With Specific Experience In Arrhythmia Testing Preferred.

  • Knowledge And Proficiency In Operating Specialized Arrhythmia Testing Equipment, Such As Ambulatory Ecg Monitors And Event Recorders.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Accurately Interpret And Analyze Complex Arrhythmia Data And Communicate Findings To Physicians And Other Healthcare Professionals.
