
Principal ServiceNow Engineer
Configure and implement ServiceNow solutions using scripting as well as leveraging all appropriate components offered by ServiceNow to meet specific business needs. Assumes a platform champion responsibility serving as a subject matter expert (SME) by keeping abreast of NOW platform releases and changes and remaining poised to provide recommendations to leadership as necessary. Responsible for keeping data accurate and current in the platform for many stakeholders and applications to leverage. Provides guidance to leadership about best approach for development/implementation in the solutioning of problems.Participates in platform roadmap and budget planning, license analysis and management. Keeps familiarity with all development requests, participates in sprint planning, estimating story points, and provides guidance for overall sprint.
Advanced experience in ServiceNow architecture, planning, implementation, and execution
Strong understanding of Configuration Management Database (CMDB), ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping
8+ years total relevant experience
Minimum of 5 years ServiceNow platform management experience
ITIL Foundations v3 or v4 certification preferred
Experience with network and communications protocols
Experience applying engineering concepts such as DevOps, full stack development, low code, AI and test automation in SaaS constrained platforms
