  1. Conduct research and stay updated on current energy efficiency regulations and policies at the local, state, and federal levels.
  2. Collaborate with clients to understand their sustainability goals and develop strategies to meet regulatory requirements.
  3. Provide guidance and expertise to clients on navigating complex regulatory environments.
  4. Develop and submit regulatory compliance reports and documentation.
  5. Analyze data and conduct cost-benefit analyses to evaluate the effectiveness of energy efficiency programs.
  6. Communicate and negotiate with regulatory agencies on behalf of clients.
  7. Stay informed on industry trends and best practices related to energy efficiency regulations.
  8. Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement innovative solutions for clients.
  9. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, regulatory agencies, and industry stakeholders.
  10. Provide training and support to clients on regulatory compliance and energy efficiency initiatives.
  11. Monitor and track changes in regulatory requirements and communicate updates to clients.
  12. Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to ensure compliance.
  13. Attend industry conferences and events to stay informed and represent the company's expertise.
  14. Assist with business development efforts by identifying new opportunities and pitching services to potential clients.
  15. Contribute to the company's thought leadership by conducting research and publishing articles or white papers on energy efficiency regulations and policies.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Knowledge Of Energy Efficiency Regulations And Standards: This Qualification Requires A Deep Understanding Of Local, State, And Federal Energy Efficiency Regulations, As Well As Industry Standards And Best Practices.

  • Experience In Developing And Implementing Energy Efficiency Programs: A Successful Candidate Should Have Experience In Designing And Executing Energy Efficiency Programs, Including Conducting Energy Audits, Identifying Energy-Saving Opportunities, And Implementing Energy-Saving Measures.

  • Strong Analytical Skills: As An Energy Efficiency Regulatory Consultant, One Must Be Able To Analyze Complex Data And Information To Develop Effective Strategies And Recommendations For Clients.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: This Role Involves Working Closely With Clients, Government Agencies, And Other Stakeholders, So Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential To Effectively Convey Regulatory Requirements And Build Relationships.

  • Education And Certifications: Many Energy Efficiency Regulatory Consultant Positions Require A Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field Such As Engineering Or Environmental Science, As Well As Relevant Certifications, Such As Certified Energy Manager (Cem) Or Leed Accredited Professional (Leed Ap).
