Parking Control Officer

Patrols an assigned area of the City to identify automobiles, motorcycles, and other vehicles in violation of parking laws and ordinances. Prepares and issues parking citations to vehicles parked illegally to ensure the equitable and orderly control of vehicular parking. Arranges for the towing and storage or impound of abandoned vehicles, illegally parked vehicles, vehicles with expired licenses, or vehicles in violation of other related laws and ordinances. Provides court testimony or prepares statements of facts in response to administrative reviews of parking citations and vehicle impound or storage actions in criminal or civil hearings.

Incorporated in 1927, the City of Tustin is located in central Orange County and encompasses an area of 11.08 square miles. Tustin is bounded on the south by the cities of Irvine and Santa Ana, on the north by the unincorporated portions of the County of Orange and the City of Orange, and on the east by unincorporated County territory and the City of Irvine.
