
Utility Systems Maintenance Technician

- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on essential utility systems including water, sewer, and electrical systems.
- Respond to emergency situations and outages to quickly resolve issues and minimize downtime.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and address them proactively.
- Utilize technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex issues.
- Collaborate with team members and external vendors to coordinate repairs and upgrades.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment, and inventory.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide updates on maintenance activities and system status.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the efficiency and reliability of utility systems.
- Provide exceptional customer service to the community by responding to inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Utility Systems Maintenance, Preferably In A Municipal Or Public Sector Setting.
Knowledge Of And Ability To Operate A Variety Of Equipment And Tools Used In Utility System Maintenance, Such As Backhoes, Excavators, And Trenchers.
Proficiency In Troubleshooting And Repairing Water, Sewer, And Stormwater Systems, Including Pumps, Valves, And Pipelines.
Strong Understanding Of Safety Protocols And Procedures Related To Working With Utility Systems, Including Confined Space Entry And Traffic Control.
Valid Driver's License And Ability To Obtain A Commercial Driver's License (Cdl) Within 6 Months Of Employment.
