Manage the City's financial assets and ensure their safekeeping.
Develop and implement strategies for optimizing the City's treasury operations.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Treasury department.
Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends and make informed recommendations.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations.
Develop and maintain relationships with external financial institutions and stakeholders.
Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and City officials.
Train and mentor junior treasury staff.
Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard the City's financial assets.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in treasury management.
Act as a liaison between the City and external auditors.
Lead and participate in special projects related to treasury operations.
Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
Uphold ethical standards and maintain confidentiality of financial information.

Job Qualifications

Strong Understanding Of Investment Strategies And Risk Management.
Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Accounting, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Treasury Or Cash Management.
Proficiency In Financial Analysis And Forecasting.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Lead A Team And Collaborate With Other Departments.
