Transportation Planner

At the City of Seattle, we are looking for a Transport Planner to join our team. Our ideal candidate is an experienced professional with a passion for transportation planning and working with the public. As a Transport Planner, you will play a key role in the development of our city’s transportation plans and policies.To be successful in this position, the ideal candidate will have the required qualifications: a Bachelor's degree in urban planning, transportation planning, or a related field; experience in transportation planning, policy development, and/or operation; and a working knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations. The ideal candidate will also have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be able to effectively interact with various stakeholders.We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and committed to making our city a better place.
