Job Description

We are looking for an experienced, energetic and solutions-oriented Sr. Capital Projects Coordinator to join the City of Seattle’s team. In this role, you will be responsible for the coordination and oversight of capital projects from concept to completion. You will need to have excellent organizational and communication skills, be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment, and be able to work both independently and as part of a team.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in project coordination, preferably in a public sector/municipal setting. You should possess a Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as public administration, construction management, urban planning, engineering or architecture, and have the technical and administrative experience necessary to effectively manage and support construction projects. Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations is also preferred.If you are an organized and detail-oriented individual with a passion for public service, then this position is for you. We are looking for a self-starter with a positive attitude and an eagerness to learn who can bring innovative solutions to complex problems.
